** The Rothrock Challenge will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Tussey Mountain Fun Center in Boalsburg, Pa. The physical address is 301 Bear Meadows Road, Boalsburg Pa 16827  Start time for the race is 8am.

** Race starts at 8am from the Tussey Mountain pavilion. All runners must park in the parking areas on the LEFT hand side at the Ski lodge on Saturday. Staff only at the pavilion.

** Bib/Packet pick-up is Friday 4-7pm and Saturday from 6:30-8am at the Tussey Pavilion. The race starts at the pavilion which is located on the RIGHT hand side of the road as you pass the ski resort. It's about a 250 yard walk down the lane from the parking area. All porta-johns will be here.

** There are three aid stations throughout the 17.2 mile course. Approx. mile 6, 10, and 14. Each station will have water, gatorade, gels, bananas, trail mix, etc.  The course will be flagged in orange with intersections utilizing orange/black arrows. Littering will not be tolerated. We all need to be good trail ambassadors out on the course so please control your trash.

** Tussey Mountain is a private facility and they have asked everyone to keep your dogs at home. So, please don't bring your dog.

** Tussey also has a par 3 golf course next to the pavilion and the road leading to it. Please stay off the golf course. Use the access road or stay in the grass just off the access road.

** There are no "bail out" sections on this course. This is a 25K race and we expect each runner to complete the entire course.  Emergency personnel will be on hand at each aid station in case of emergencies.

** There are no spectator areas on this course. Each aid station has enough room for the volunteers and that is it. We are not responsible for any tickets or fines given out by DCNR for blocking the fire roads.

** Be prepared for all weather conditions. In case of raiin, the course will become very slick, especially in the rocky sections. Please be careful and take your time. In case of extreme heat, utilize the multiple stream crossings to cool off. Water at the first two aid stations is for drinking only, but there will be a stream nearby. We'll have a water buffalo at the last aid station (since there are no streams nearby) so runners can cool off. Be prepared for mucky conditions on the Charcoal Flats Trail at mile 8-10. The rattlesnakes are out so keep an eye out for the little guys. Say hello, but don't get too close!!!!

** Post-race party will include a chicken bar-b-que and a variety of drinks, including brew form Straub Brewery.
